Frivolous Things

So, I'm about to leave the country for 6 weeks.

Spain for 5.

Ireland for 1.

I am BEYOND pumped. But, it kind of all seems surreal right now. Like, I'm about to go to Spain?

Excuse me, what?

So, while my mind cannot fathom the fact that I will actually be leaving the country TOMORROW,

my hands have not been idle.

I have spent the last 4 days shopping, organizing, and packing.

So, there is a peek into what i have been packing for the past few days.

unfortunately, it doesn't even scratch the surface.

praying my suitcase will be under 50 pounds.

yeah right.

Finally

So, this is it. I've finally bitten the bullet and created a place for me to document my experiences. I've been meaning to get on this for a few years now... oh well, better late than never, right? 

I'm assuming if someone out there is reading this, then you already know me,

so i probably don't need to go into too much detail about myself.

But, just for fun, a few simple things about my life that in someway just begin to define me.

(You should know now that I like numbering things, so that could very well become a staple of mine in many blog posts to come.)

1. I am a daughter of the King. A follower of Christ.

2. I am a soon to be sophomore in college.

3. I have the best friends anyone could ever ask for.

4. I leave for spain in THREE days to study abroad for 5 weeks.

5. I really wish I was a runner. 

6. I'm wishing I were spending more of this summer at home, but am so excited to see what new experiences will bring. 

7. I love, i mean love, macaroni and cheese.

8. I wish i was a really awesome dancer, because that would be, well, awesome. 

9. I love babies.

10. I am so excited to be starting this blog and am hoping I will be disciplined enough to stay on top of keeping track of my travels, experiences, and growth.

I think that about covers it for now.
